The Company

After many successful years in international pony sports, at Junior and Young Rider levels, the Poels family decided in 2004 to set up the commercial stud farm ‘De Leygraaf Stables’. From a very early age, siblings Anne-Marie and Caroline together with their father René Poels started building a wide international customer base in the pony scene. The company showed enormous growth after the two sisters made the step towards international equestrian sports, and it was with great pride that in 2004, the family opened the new stable complex under the name ‘De Leygraaf Stables’ at the Donkstraat in Swolgen.

‘De Leygraaf Stables’ features 25 spacious horse stalls, a 22 x 50 m indoor arena, a 30 x 70 m outdoor arena and a lunge pen, a covered horse walker and a reception area. It also boasts two fine apartments.
